Suzan Decker Ross, ASID – Designer/CEO – Design talent and business acumen don’t always fit together nicely in the same package. Suzan Decker Ross is testament to the fact that they can. Under her guidance as CEO, Decker Ross has grown and prospered in a highly competitive business for almost 30 years. Her creative bonifides include many prestigious design awards and she was the lead designer on HGTV’s Designer’s Challenge. Suzan was featured on News Channel 8 as the Design Guru and hosted home design segments on the “Daytime” program. With her talent, and resources she is one of the most sought after designers in the Tampa Bay Area.
Jen Bain Kravchuk, Designer – Jen Bain Kravchuk, Designer – Graduating Magna Cum Laude might lead you to believe Jen Bain Kravchuk is intense. But her easy going nature is one of the traits clients appreciate about her. Jen received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology in 2007, shortly after joining the Decker Ross team. Her highly innovative design work for the Florida Orchestra Show House drew the attention of the St. Petersburg Times, and her imaginative creations have been featured twice in that publication. A unique vision, a creative eye and an ability to reflect the taste and lifestyle of her clients are key to Jen’s success as a designer for Decker Ross Interiors.
Halle Stephens, Designer – Halle’s work is impressive. We should know, she impressed us enough as an intern that we welcomed her enthusiastically when a position opened five years later. Halle received her Bachelors Degree from The Art Institute of Tampa. She was one of a three designer team chosen to redesign the set of a daytime talk show for WFLA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Tampa. And Halle worked with the Urban Charrette, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating citizens on the importance of quality urban design in shaping more beautiful, sustainable cities. She brings a vibrant creative energy, expertise in various CAD programs, and an impressive array of design experience to Decker Ross Interiors.
Marci Tempesta, Designer – When Marci takes on something, she won’t quit until she’s mastered it. Her Master of Science in Interior Design is proof positive. On her way to that distinction, she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Florida State University. While studying there, Marci’s designs were showcased in gallery shows for the Interior Design Department. However, university professors weren’t the only ones impressed by Marci’s work. Today Marci’s clients are the ones attesting to her creative design skills. And they are many. Originally from Massachusetts, Marci now calls the Tampa Bay Area home.
Shawn Tanney Richards, Interior Design and Marketing – You want to talk design? After obtaining her degree in Visual Arts with a major in Interior Design, Shawn worked in the field for over a decade. Then she really went to work, designing and building two homes and renovating a third. Shawn produced the working drawings, pulled permits, scheduled subcontractors, supervised construction and handled some of the finishing work. Functioning in both design and marketing, she brings a knowledge of the Environmental “Green” Building industry as the demand for such design continues to grow.
Jill Fuller, Designer – With twenty-five years experience and a design pedigree to recommend her, Jill Fuller could have had her pick of design firms to settle into. But the daughter of noted Bay Area designer, Joyce Fuller, chose Decker Ross Interiors as her new home when her mother decided to retire and close Clearwater’s respected Joyce Fuller Interiors. Jill earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the highly regarded International Academy of Design in Tampa. We welcomed Jill onto the Decker Ross team and have high regard for the history of design in the Bay Area which she represents.
Pamela Hobbs, Designer – Pam left plenty of beautifully designed interiors behind in Indianapolis where she headed her own design firm. She distinguished herself there with her innovative interiors, and was a selected designer for the well known Decorators’ Show House, for fifteen years. She is the product of Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, or IUPUI, as it’s identified on sweatshirts (for obvious reasons). But Indiana’s loss was our gain when Pam relocated here to be close to family. Although she is relatively new to Decker Ross, Pam has almost twenty-five years experience in all phases of interior design. She is tenacious when it comes to her design instincts and admits to being a slave to detail…Traits we value highly at Decker Ross Interiors.
