JMC Belleview Place - Alamanda
Sophisticated Urban Elegance in Belleair
As the Alamanda Building at Belleview Place neared completion, JMC reached out to us to design the lobby, common areas and a model in this spectacular building. With expansive views of the Belleair Country Club Golf Course as well as the intracoastal waterway, it’s no wonder the building was completely sold out before construction was even completed. Marci Tempesta was selected to lead this project. In the main lobby, her design concept conveyed elegant sophistication and comfort to residents and their visitors. She chose a neutral color palette with tonal variations of teal, accented by champagne gold and silver metal finishes to compliment the grey washed espresso wood floor. In contrast, Marci decided to showcase a sophisticated urban design aesthetic featuring earthy natural elements and a bold brown and black color palette in the model.
A dark teal accent wall offers a lovely backdrop to the grouping of champagne starburst discs behind the sofa seating area, which is anchored by a watercolor area rug of subtle taupe with teal. A grouping of rich velvet club chairs with nailhead trim surrounds a round marble top table offering a place for easy, comfortable conversation for residents and guests; while the table and chair area adds multi-purpose functionality to the space. The natural open weave wallcovering inset and gold starburst sphere pendant lights add dimension and interest to this lovely lobby.
The light, bright kitchen balances the dark colors in the décor and warm caramel wood plank floors. The natural stone counter tops tie the various color tones together, providing cohesiveness to the overall design.
GRAND LIVING AREA
The geometric drapery panels soften the wall of windows in the grand living area, adding a decorative touch without impeding the view or natural light. The emphasis on natural elements and textures is evident through the use of live edge wood, sisal, glass, metal, stone and various fabrics in the furniture, lighting and accessory selections.
Art with an Asian flare in concert with selected bold brown geometric and linear patterns punctuate the monochromatic caramel and ivory color palette in this sophisticated Master Suite. A hand forged branch chandelier creates a unique focal point in the recessed tray ceiling and dark espresso wood furnishings add richness to the soft, textural fabrics and carpet.
