OASIS CORPORATE HOUSING
Lead Designer, Dyneen Menard, was asked to create a Silicon Valley “vibe” in the international headquarters of Oasis Corporate Housing, located in Tampa. They requested a modern, upscale design that would offer a relaxed atmosphere to their employees and guests- leading to creativity, innovation and collaboration.
Meetings are held in a relaxed café atmosphere, filled with polished surfaces and brushed brass accents. Over the bistro tables, Dyneen featured the work of an artist who specializes in hand cut paper maps of international cities.
Cozy, ambient lighting in the sitting room provides a relaxed space for ideas to flourish and quiet conversations to take place. Textural variation– from slick glass and carrara marble to reclaimed wood and a lush area rug- combine to add interest to the space.
A reclaimed wood, ladder style news and magazine stand keep employees and guests “in the know” regarding current events and local “happenings”. *A recent issue of Tampa Bay Magazine is featured in this photo.
Employees are encouraged to play a variety of games like chess, scrabble and monopoly that challenge both sides of their brains…leading to innovation and collaboration.
Everyone is offered a “Cup of Joe” – for here or on the go! Oasis provides coffee beans from around the world – for their employees and guests.
A “Live Wall” provides an alluring backdrop to the popular and fun shuffleboard game, which inspires creativity through movement and laughter. Other interesting design elements include silver leaf tree stump stools and a carrara marble waterfall edge on the counter.
