The Cove
Talented designers, Jen Kravchuk and Cara Mayes, were pleased to be selected to bring a fresh new look to The Cove Apartment Complex on Tampa Bay. They decided to utilize a Contemporary Industrial design theme with a Coastal Flare, with an aqua, citrus, and pewter color palette and chrome accents.
The stunning two story Clubhouse features a herringbone tile pattern on the floor, reclaimed wood on the wall and a custom “faux wrought iron” insert in the upstairs kitchen window, which casts circular light shadows at various times of the day. To reflect the waterfront location, they designed a unique “wave pattern” for the aqua opalescent backsplash tiles in the kitchen area.
Warm natural wood elements contrast with cool metal, glass, and tile throughout their design. A beautiful “live edge” wood table anchors the dining room, with a large pendant light made of recycled materials above. They combined chrome dining side chairs with beautiful upholstered sloped-arm chairs on the ends. Beautifully unique lighting fixtures were selected for this project, including an unusual curled vinewood base lamp with a linen shade- which adds interest to the console table. Excellent quality faux succulents and orchids, colorful abstract art with coastal elements, and a variety of complimentary accessories provide the finishing touches to the overall design.
In addition to this large Clubhouse (which includes common Seating Areas, Kitchen /Dining, and Leasing Office), Jen and Cara created beautiful Studio and One Bedroom Models, re-designed the Game Room, and selected paint colors for the Gym.
