“Sneak Peak” at the Grand Reserve
Designers Jen Kravchuk and Halle Stephens decided to create an upscale, transitional design utilizing a grey and cobalt color palette with aqua accents, for the Clubhouse at Grand Reserve. They incorporated a variety of fabrics and surface finishes to add depth and textural contrast to the open space. The dark plank floor is complimented by the light grey striated, textured sofa fabric – which is punctuated by nailhead trim detail. The nearby leather ottomans also incorporate the nailhead trim. Throw pillows on the sofas add a mix of traditional fabrics (like solid velvet and damask) with a more modern stripe. The beautiful “art silk” area rug is reminiscent of an abstract watercolor and anchors the seating group. There are designer touches throughout- from the capiz shell front on the console to the unique art grouping, custom silks, and faux wrought iron room divider. The interesting tray ceiling architectural detail was artfully painted to enhance the overall design. The industrial pewter chandelier with Edison bulbs, adds another focal point to this beautiful clubhouse. The mixed use of natural materials like metal, wood, shell, plants and greenery – along with an abundance of natural light- all contribute to the comfortable ambiance created by Jen and Halle.
