Decker Ross Interiors Participates in WUSF Public Media Event: The Longest Table
On a recent “gusty” Thursday evening, WUSF held its annual fundraiser along beautiful Bayshore Boulevard in St. Petersburg: The Longest Table. This year’s sold out event drew nearly 1000 people and numerous well known bay area restauranteurs were able to showcase their delectable cuisine and talent for creative table décor. Their creativity was reviewed by judges: Sheila Rue and Diane Lemieux, both of WUSF, along with Suzan Decker Ross, ASID- Owner of Decker Ross Interiors. Their selection for the winning table was The Mill, who made the brilliant decision to enlist the creative genius of Concept Bait’s, Lynn McGhee. The décor featured a knarly, twisted canopy of faux tree limbs entwined with greenery and colorful floral centerpieces. The Longest Table stretched from the Vinoy to the Museum of Fine Arts, where the “After Party” was held. A fabulous time was had by all in attendance, and $21,000 was raised for WUSF Public Media!
